Since Marconi invented the telegraph in 1895,the human communication reached to a whole new stage,the information transmission evolved from the original physical carrier such as text and graphics to the radio in a new era of evolution.In terms of communication equipment and application domain,there also has countless new discovery,new technology emerged.In the antenna part of wireless communication,the technology level directly affects the quality of the whole communication system,so it becomes an important research direction in the field of radio frequency.The ultra-wideband(UWB)antennas studied in this paper are an important branch of antenna development,and the applications of ultra-wideband technology usually have the characteristics of broadband width,high speed,good penetration and excellent directivity.With the rapid development of wireless communications,thus it inevitably lead to the band tension,interference problem and so on.UWB technology can coexist with the existing spectrum,in terms of signal interference,and can be modified on the antenna device such as adding a notch,then filter out interference spectrum signal.The novel compact band-notched UWB antenna proposed in this paper belong to planar printed antenna.This novel introduces the background of ultra-wideband antenna development,and band-notching technology and the miniaturization technology used in UWB antenna in detail.Also we explained on the antenna radiation mechanism and the reference indexes of antenna performance.The introduction to actual work is divided into three parts.A basic compact wideband antenna is designed,and a 25 mm x 25 mm * 1.6mm size is achieved.The antenna has a good directivity and high gain while work well in the provided UWB band(3.1-10.6GHz).Based on the basic small ultra-wideband antenna the author built,then the expected frequency notch processing is done.With the introduction of twists and turns of notch groove,a UWB antenna can be used in the ISM band(5.725 to 5.850 GHz)environment under the interference is built.And the related dimension parameters of notch groove can be adjusted,thus realize the notch frequency change.The antenna is suitable for all kinds of single frequency interference environment.This paper also proposed a small ultra-wideband antenna applied to the blood glucose concentration detection.The author considered that the actual antenna will work on the surface of the organization,so we built a simple earlobe organization model in the simulation process,and the reflection characteristics of an antenna on the surface of the multiple tissues were tested.The antenna has a small size of 12 mm x 13.7mm x 0.635 mm,as well as a good matching feature of the full UWB spectrum on a variety of tissues,so it has a good application prospect.
