Technology-driven changes are profoundly affecting people's lives and bringing about changes in various fields. With the popularization of the Internet, big data technology has matured, bringing new forces to the development of museums, providing new environments, new technologies, and new carriers.Emerging forms of cultural communication such as VR,AR,mobile APP,and webcasting are gradually being applied to the digital communication of the museum, giving the audience a refreshing visit experience. The Eighteenth Party of the Communist Party of China proposed to ‘make cultural relics come to life',and the application of new media technology in the development of museums in our country is a useful attempt for museums to respond to this change. In recent years, the digital construction and cultural dissemination of museums have gradually become the focus of continuous attention from the academic circles and the industry.Museums play an important role in cultural communication,The networking, digitization, and intelligence of museums will become inevitable for the construction of museums in the future. Therefore, the use of communication theory to analyze the cultural communication of museums can provide a new perspective for the digital construction of museums. From the perspective of immersive communication and based on the S-O-R stimulus response model, this paper proposes a research model of the influence of immersive experience in digital museums on audience behavior. The communication characteristics of the digital museum include sensory stimulation, scene construction,human-computer interaction, and social interaction. The audience's immersive experience includes factors such as concentration of attention, change in time perception, change in spatial perception, and sense of control. The dissemination of digital museums will have an impact on the audience's immersive experience, and at the same time, the immersive experience will also affect the audience's behavioral response. Therefore, starting from the audience, this article explores how the various communication elements in the digital museum affect the audience's immersive experience, and how the various dimensions of the immersive experience affect the audience ' s visit and information acquisition behavior? This article attempts to provide suggestions and references for the digital construction of the museum through the analysis of relevant influencing factors. The questionnaire survey method was mainly used in the research, and 637 valid questionnaires were obtained through formal investigation, and SPSS26.0 and AMOS26.0 were used to test the validity of the research model. The empirical results show that:(1)The human-computer interaction factors of the digital museum have the most significant positive impact on the audience's sense of control experience.(2)Scene construction has the most obvious impact on the audience's perception of time and space.(3)Sensory stimulation has the most obvious influence on the audience's attention concentration.(4)For the audience's immersive experience, the sense of control and concentration of attention have more significant positive effects on the audience's visiting behavior and information acquisition behavior. Therefore, the construction of digital museums should strengthen the design of elements such as human-computer interaction and sensory stimulation, and social interaction has relatively weak influence on the audience's immersive experience. On the basis of empirical research, this article further analyzes the immersive communication of digital museums. From the perspective of immersive communication,it analyzes the relationship between the audience's physical presence and the acquisition of immersive psychological perception in the space-time environment created by the digital museum.the audience's physical presence and immersive psychological perception in the space-time environment created by digital museums.
