In recent years,China's R&D investment in science and technology has increased substantially,and progress has been made in frontier fields,but there is still a gap with developed countries,especially in basic research fields.In order to improve the country's technological competitiveness,independent innovation must be adhered to.Under the premise of limited investment in scientific research resources,it is important to rationally arrange resources to fill research gaps in key areas and to carry out national scientific and technological competitive intelligence work.In view of the current situation of international scientific and technological competition,China is facing problems such as incomplete coverage of topics,deviations in research directions,clustering of popular topics,and lack of marginal topics in scientific management.This paper proposes a national science and technology intelligence analysis model based on topic analysis,and conducts empirical research in the field of computer vision as an example to describe the distribution of research topics in this field in China and identify weak research topics.Firstly,use the LDA topic model to generate topics;secondly,conduct macro-topic distribution analysis,using topic coverage indicators and post intensity radar chart analysis methods to better describe the topic distribution,and discover the country's problems in topic distribution;then conduct micro-topic analysis.Subject category identification,divides research topics into core topics and edge topics from the spatial dimension,and divides them into potential topics,emerging topics,hot topics,and declining topics from the time dimension;finally,the weak research topics in China are identified through country-specific comparative analysis.In order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the analysis model proposed in this article,an empirical study was carried out in the field of computer vision,and it was found that the overall level of Chinese publications in the field of computer vision is among the highest in the world,but there are uneven distribution of research topics,topic shifts and two The issue of level differentiation still has research weaknesses in the subject areas of image registration technology,medical image analysis,virtual reality and augmented reality,and cognitive vision.Based on this,suggestions are made for the balanced development and rational allocation of scientific research resources in the field of computer vision in China from the national and scientific research institutions.The research results show that the national science and technology intelligence analysis model based on topic analysis proposed in this paper can better describe the problems faced by the country in the field of computer vision topic distribution,and identify the weak topics of China's research in this field.Provide targeted assistance and domain science and technology management decision-making.In addition,the analysis and identification of research topics in the field of computer vision can assist related scholars and institutions in this field in research topic selection and funding decision-making.
