Insurance software is an operational service system sold to insurance companies.Different from general products,insurance software is not a standardized product that is delivered at one time.It usually needs to be customized according to the specific needs of each insurance company,and special personnel need to be stationed in the insurance company for long-term operation,maintenance and technical upgrades.Therefore,traditional insurance software companies are closer to service providers than product providers,and their profit source is mainly the direct difference between the unit price of manpower sold to insurance companies and the cost of personnel salary,mainly based on the service model of manpower outsourcing.However,in recent years,with the development of technological innovations such as big data,artificial intelligence,and 5G,the needs of insurance companies have rapidly converged.Insurance companies have begun to purchase more mature products instead of human outsourcing services.Put forward new requirements,and then promote the overall transformation of such enterprises from service providers to product providers.The impact of the development of new technologies is mainly reflected in two aspects: First,technological innovations such as big data,artificial intelligence,and 5G.The system construction direction of insurance companies has changed from a pure business management system to a customer service support system.Pay attention to product maturity and implementation cost.Therefore,insurance companies are not developing their own personalized systems as in the past,but turning to low-cost standardized products that are widely used.The second is that high technology has also promoted the implementation of specific plans for insurance regulatory standards.The use of high-tech tools has enabled the supervisory level to formulate more uniform and detailed regulatory standards to achieve real-time supervision of insurance business data.Each insurance company needs to refer to when building the system.Regulatory requirements,such as insurance policy registration,insurance policy verification platform,etc.The promulgation of regulatory standards has also led insurance companies to unify their needs during system construction and pay more attention to standardized products that meet regulatory standards.This article takes XZ company as an example to analyze the transformation strategy of an insurance software company from a service provider to a product provider.Taking product changes caused by technological innovation as the core,explore the path of transformation within the framework of the core competence theory of enterprises.First,analyze the changes in the demand for insurance software products brought about by financial technology innovation;secondly,introduce XZ's current business model,combined with data analysis and SWOT analysis methods,and analyze the internal and external environments that XZ faces;third,through interviews,Analyze the existing problems of XZ company's current business model.In the future,XZ company will transform from a pure insurance software human outsourcing company to a comprehensive insurance software service company with "standard products + service customization + personnel services";finally,From the four aspects of organizational structure,operation strategy,R&D strategy,and human resource management,specific measures for transformation are proposed.These measures include: in terms of organizational structure,adjusting the organizational structure of the original pure human outsourcing model to the organizational structure of the "product R&D + service" model;and formulating three types of standard products,service customization,and personnel services by adjusting XZ's operating strategy.Different operating models and sales models to meet the different needs of different customers,forming a diversified operating model;optimizing the current research and development strategy,and formulating a complete implementation process for the development of new products and product upgrades;in the construction of human resources Improve the talent strategy of XZ company through incentive policies,recruitment and training system,communication system.These measures will assist XZ's enterprise transformation from a single service provider to an integrated solution provider.
