Collection Management In The Construction Of Smart Museum

Collections are the core of the work of the museum,and the scientific management of the collections is the basis for other business development of the museum.With the rise of scientific and technological revolution time and time again,the development of museums has also gone through a stage from informatization to digitization.Nowadays,new exploration and practice are being carried out on the road to the intelligent construction of museums.Smart museum are the product of the combination of physical museum,digital museum,and emerging technologies.The smart management of collections is also inseparable from the mature and complete collection management mechanism of physical museum and the infrastructure of digital museum.But at present,the collection management of physical museums has problems such as low degree of intelligence in the management process,imperfect construction of the collection storage security system,difficulty in dynamic collection management,and low acceptance of new technologies by Museum practitioners.For digital museums,the common problems are inadequate and incomplete digital information collections,the problem of information islands is difficult to solve,the standard and normative problems of data collection and database construction have not been completely solved,the degree of information openness is low,and the information development and utilization system is not perfect.The article takes the solution of these existing problems as the starting point,and analyzes the construction status and development status of smart museums,and summarizes experiences through investigations and studies.It is hoped that through the use of mature and reliable technical means,scientific and reasonable system construction,and perfect institutional and normative construction,it can provide a reference paradigm basis for the intelligent management of museum collections.
