Information technologies like Big Data,Cloud Computing,Internet of Things and Mobile Computing are in the upswing,which have boosted the growth of data.Data has become a basic strategic resource and one of important production factors in the digital economy era.Data services become the essential motivity of development of enterprises in production operation,management changes and business model innovation with big data industry development,and it also enhances the use of data for government management and other social activities.The revelation about data service discovery helps to be the important principles of data service discovery and to establish the theoretical foundation for service matching.With the consumers' preference for quality of data and service context,this paper focuses on how to proposes an effective data service discovery mechanism,which helps to improve the data service discovery performance,to give the customer a satisfied experience,and to expand its application fields.The matching results of current service discovery mechanisms can hardly meet the growing data requirements of consumers,and these models fail to consider the influence of information description and processing on service discovery performance at greater depths,which results in unsatisfactory performance.Data service discovery is an important prerequisite for realizing data service sharing and reuse,which affects service composition in data applications.Therefore,based on Peircean semiotics and comprehensive information theory,this research studies the semiosis of data service discovery and proposes the data service discovery mechanism,where there is a three-phase process including data service perception,data service acceptance,and data service interpretation.Data service direct perception and data service indirect perception are included in There are two types of data service perception: direct perception and indirect perception.Data service acceptance is composed of semantic acceptation and pragmatic acceptation.And data service filtering,data service matching,and data service ranking are included in data service interpretation.For service discovery performance evaluation,a data service discovery performance evaluation model is constructed according to the data service complexity and match effectiveness based on information entropy.At last,in order to validate the rationality of data service discovery mechanism based on Peircean semiotics,this study is proposed for JDWX platform.The data service discovery mechanism based on Peircean semiotics in this study not only has practical implications in improving the data service discovery performance,the data valuing,data sharing,and data integration,but also provides theoretical methods and ideas in data service discovery based on unlimited semiosis.
