With the progress of science and technology, meteorological radar has leaped into a new stage. Many countries are also stepping up the construction of meteorological radar network,so as to carry out more detailed meteorological information analysis and prediction for different environments. However, the traditional meteorological radar is mainly based on station and network radar, which is large in size and inconvenient to carry, and is suitable for installation in fixed areas. In the future society, meteorological radar is expected to play a role in more fields.Compared with the monitoring of large-scale atmospheric environment, the environmental monitoring in local areas under specific circumstances pays more attention to real-time.It is urgent to provide relevant reference information by using meteorological radar instantly. Therefore, small meteorological radar is very important to supplement the meteorological radar network. As a major part of meteorological radar, signal processor is usually large in size because its functions involve signal generation, acquisition and a large amount of data processing and transmission.Different functional modules need to be separated, which is not conducive to the miniaturization design of meteorological radar. Therefore, the integrated design of meteorological radar signal processing system has great research value.Based on the analysis of the above meteorological radar with its signal processing system development status and combined with the project requirements,a portable meteorological radar signal processing system, integrating signal generation, signal acquisition,real-time data processing and transmission,is designed in this paper.ZYNQ7000 series So C is used as the master control chip in this design, and its FPGA+ARM architecture can not only achieve high-speed data processing to a certain extent, but also realize the efficient control of each module. Moreover, the processor is designed as a small-sized single board according to the design requirements, available to carry and install.Firstly, combined with the design requirements of signal processing system, the related theories of the PPP algorithm, the ADC chip of signal acquisition module and the CZT transform to improve the calculation accuracy in the meteorological radar signal processing technology are presented in this paper.Secondly,on the basis of the analysis of design requirements, the system design scheme is given, and the module and size of the system are explained.According to the content and related requirements mentioned in the system design scheme, the hardware circuit and software logic algorithm are designed respectively. In the schematic design, the system is divided into signal acquisition, signal generation, clock, core circuit and related interfaces,DDR3 and power supply modules. Then, the core devices used in the relevant modules are selected, and the power required by the system is statistically evaluated and the power consumption is evaluated. And combined with the signal integrity theory and design experience, the idea and design steps of PCB design are explained, and finally the PCB design is completed. The correctness of the system hardware is verified by testing each module circuit. After that, the design ideas and schemes of system programs and related algorithms are introduced, and the program of logic part and control part are explained respectively.Combined with the system performance indicators, the verification results of signal acquisition, signal generation and algorithm modules are given and analyzed. Finally, the design content of this paper is summarized. At the same time, the follow-up work is planned and prospected, and the improvement scheme for the inadequacies is given in the design.
