Infrared small target detection algorithm as an important part of an on-board optical detection system to detect target plays a big role.Because airborne optical remote detection system and the target distance,and attenuation of the infrared radiation generated by the target more serious in the communication process,such that the lower target infrared image contrast,smaller size,easy to be covered background clutter and image noise.When most of the image using a simple spatial domain features or characteristics of traditional small target detection algorithm,prone to false detection and missed in complex scenes,a high false alarm rate.In this paper,different image spatial and temporal characteristics of the components of the proposed joint space-time small target detection algorithm,the algorithm begins with the temporal characteristics of the different blind element and using the target,the image enhancement processing,while the proposed blind interference element avoid obscuring the target region;then filtered to complete small target spatial detection in a complex background by multiscale chain,the method of filtering results small target detection weighting can be achieved in complex clouds by using a chain scale;Finally,optical flow method The spatial confidence map is further screened to realize the spatiotemporal detection of weak and small targets.To demonstrate the effectiveness of this method,the choice herein Small Targets image sequences in typical scenarios six test algorithm performance,by comparative analysis with other algorithms detection filtering result proved that the method compared to other popular claim infrared small target detection algorithm in complex scenes can effectively cloud the small target detected to meet a low false alarm rate,and lower under depending on the scene still has better detection results,has good robustness.The algorithm is applied to an actual airborne detection system herein FPGA-based hardware platform to complete engineering algorithm,the algorithm performed by the transplant,testing,validation signal processing boards,so that each frame is reduced detection event 3ms,met on-board real-time demand photoelectric detection system.
