With the rapid development of microwave technology,the communication system is developing towards a larger scope and stronger anti-interference ability.High power microwave communication system has obvious advantages in realizing high signal-to-noise ratio,high fidelity,long-distance transmission,large coverage area,strong anti-interference and other performance,which is an important guarantee for realizing high accuracy and large range of action of the system.At the same time,with the concept of electronic integration,multi-function fusion and multi system fusion proposed,the bandwidth of communication system gradually expands from the narrow band below one octave to more than three octave.In the short term,MMIC power amplifier chip is difficult to break through the limitations of process level,heat dissipation and microwave transmission structure to achieve broadband high-power output,so it is necessary to realize ultra wideband and high-power system output through broadband power synthesis technology.Micro coaxial technology based on MEMS is a new RF system integration technology.Its microwave and millimeter wave devices and circuits have the advantages of broadband,miniaturization,low loss,high isolation and high integration.In this paper,a micro coaxial 1/2 power divider and a micro coaxial 1/4 power divider are fabricated based on micro coaxial technology,and the power capacity of the power divider is calculated,simulated and measured.On this basis,a 100 W broadband pulse power synthesis amplifier module based on MEMS micro coaxial technology is designed.The output power of the module is more than 100W in the 6-18ghz frequency band.As the front stage synthesis unit,the volume of micro coaxial 1/2 power divider is about 3mm × 5.85mm × 0.5mm,and the synthesis efficiency is more than 93%;as the final stage synthesis unit,the volume of micro coaxial 1/4 power divider is about 5.85mm × 12mm X 0.5mm,and the synthesis efficiency is more than 87%.The broadband power synthesis unit based on MEMS micro coaxial technology shows excellent performance of miniaturization,broadband and low loss synthesis,which has broad development prospects.
