Augmented reality technology can overlay virtual objects into the real world through positioning technology,so that users can experience the enhanced experience of virtual and real integration.With the rapid development of mobile Internet,augmented reality which can run smoothly on the mobile terminal has become the focus of academia and industry.Based on vision inertial slam positioning technology and marker positioning technology,this paper designs and implements a positioning engine for mobile augmented reality.The main research contents are as follows.This paper studies the positioning technology based on marker and the positioning technology based on slam,analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of several positioning technologies,and determines that the core positioning technologies to be used are the positioning technology based on natural markers and the positioning technology based on visual inertial slam.This paper de signs a system framework for mobile augmented reality positioning engine,which can transfer the operation of visual inertial slam positioning to the server,improve the system's operational efficiency,and achieve good real-time performance in data transmission level.The rendering module corresponding to the engine is designed,which can accept the positioning data of the engine and register the corresponding model to display the real world,so as to realize the effect and experience of augmented reality.The method can combine the advantages of the positioning technology based on natural markers and the positionin g technology based on visual inertia slam.When there is a marker,it can locate through the marker positioning technology,and when there is no marker,it can achieve continuous positioning in 3D space.Using the world coordinate registration technology,we can add geographic information coordinates for the whole system through marker,and realize the absolute coordinate positioning.The effectivene ss of the pose fusion meth od is verified by simulation experiments.Combined with the rendering module,the positioning effect of the whole engine is tested in the actual scene.Finally,the effectiveness of the whole mobile augmented reality positioning engine is verified.
