In recent years,the fifth generation of mobile communications and IP networks have made great progress,and multimedia applications such as VR,ultra-clear video live broadcast,and driverless driving have also benefited from this,and they have become increasingly popular.The transmission performance requirements such as resolution and time delay required for multimedia communication are increasing,which has further requirements for the wireless transmission of information.Compared with the TCP protocol,the UDP protocol has a faster rate,but due to the lack of error control,flow control and other functions,it is difficult to avoid congestion and packet loss during wireless transmission.Therefore,this paper introduces Raptor code to make it have the function of forward erasure,which greatly improves the reliability of communication.In this paper,the commonly used fountain codes are simulated and analyzed,the performance of different commonly used fountain codes is compared,and the code length,whether to choose the system Raptor code,and the time delay are analyzed.Based on the analysis results,the codes in specific scenarios are proposed.The package length,decoding overhead,and suggestions on which system Raptor code to choose.Next,this paper proposes a UEP Raptor code based on EWF,which can protect more important data.By comparing the performance of UEP Raptor code with eep Raptor code and traditional UEP Raptor code,it is concluded that the encoding and decoding method of UEP Raptor code can significantly improve the success probability of decoding more important data,so it can improve the transmission quality of information.Finally,a multimedia video transmission system was built based on VS2017,the video to be transmitted was compressed by H.265,the compressed video stream was encoded by UEP-Raptor,and the Socket communication between the receiving and sending ends was carried out in the form of UDP packets,and the receiving end Perform UEP-Raptor decoding on the received data packets,and restore the lost data packets in the deleted channel.In addition,in order to verify the performance of the UEP-Raptor code video transmission system,compare the decoding performance of UEP-Raptor encoding or EEP-Raptor encoding,encoding of different lengths,etc.,analyze the anti-packet ability,and the smoothness of video transmission.Analyze the relationship with the coding and decoding delay,and finally realize the combination of UEP-Raptor code and multimedia video transmission,which improves the performance of video transmission.
