MCVideo is a new-generation broadband digital trunking video communication technology standard specified by 3GPP,which supports broadband trunking services such as group video call.The MCVideo system uses LTE as the bearer network and uses E-MBMS to implement broadcast and multicast of multimedia services.E-MBMS technology stipulates that different cells transmit user data at the same frequency at the same time,which improves the spectrum utilization rate and system capacity of the LTE system.However,applying the traditional MBMS multicast technology directly to the video group call of MCVideo cannot meet the requirements of the trunking system such as short connection time,low call loss rate,and priority call.Therefore,the research of video multicast technology in MCVideo system based on the E-MBMS is of great significance.On the basis of reviewing the research status of domestic and foreign broadband digital trunking system and their video multicast technology,this paper studies and verifies the MCVideo video multicast technology based on E-MBMS.The main work is as follows:1.Based on the MCVideo and MBMS system architecture,the MBMS control plane and user plane protocol stack are analyzed,and the E-MBMS trunking communication service management process and the MCVideo video multicast processing process based on E-MBMS are described.At the same time,the synchronization processing mechanism of E-MBMS service control signaling and user data is studied,and the synchronization of E-MBMS control plane and user plane is realized;2.A DASH video multicast technology based on E-MBMS is proposed.The DASH technology can adjust the multicast video transmission rate according to MCVideo users' channel quality dynamically,which improves the system resource utilization;3.An improved delay priority resource scheduling algorithm named IDPS is proposed in this paper.Compared to the traditional delay priority algorithm DPS,this algorithm comprehensively considers user delay information and real-time channel quality information,effectively guarantees real-time performance,and not only achieves a balance between system throughput and user fairness,but also obtains better packet loss rate performance;4.A software architecture of MCVideo video multicast technology based on E-MBMS is proposed.This architecture realizes the trunking communication service management function of MCVideo server and the bearer service function of MBMS system.It has strong interoperability,fast signaling processing speed,easy to maintain and other features.Using C++ and C program language,based on Ubuntu operating system,MCVideo server,BM-SC,MBMS GW,MME and MCE are programmed and developed,which realizes MCVideo video multicast technology based on E-MBMS;5.An E-MBMS based MCVideo video multicast technology verification platform was built,which is used to verify the activation,deactivation and update procedure of the E-MBMS trunking communication service,the synchronization performance and transmission of the MBMS user plane data latency and throughput.The verification result shows that the implemented MBMS system can meet the requirements of MBMS multicast services,and at the same time,meet the service quality requirements of the broadband digital trunking system MCVideo video multicast services.
