With the rapid development of Internet of Things(Io T)technology,Io T has been extended to a variety of industries.Many companies are paying more and more attention to the role of Io T in engineering practice.In recent years,a subway company also propels the automatic management of tools based on Io T.The company prepares using intelligent and informational means to improve the shortcoming of the manual inventory of maintenance tools,to improve the field safety and to reduce the human resource cost.The tool management system mainly used the Client/Server(C/S)architecture in the early stage.Its interactive interface is rich and processing speed is fast,but its disadvantages of difficult maintaining and upgrading have gradually emerged,especially with the development of Io T.The Browser/Server(B/S)architecture has largely solved the problem of the C/S architecture at the expense of partial response speed and the richness of user interface.Based on the above background and the problems which this company encounter in tool management,in this thesis,a Web software for tool management system was designed and implemented.In this thesis,the background and current situation of Web software were analyzed,and then the research content and software development methods were proposed.This software used B/S architecture as the basic structure.Then based on B/S architecture,it was designed that the communication protocol between the server-side and the user-side and the database.It was designed that the system's server-side and user-side to meet the functional requirements of the system based on the software architecture.Finally in this thesis,the system's function,compatibility and concurrency performance were tested.All of three tests can achieve the expected results.The success of the three tests shows that the tool management system can turn the company's“result-oriented” into “process-oriented”,and can realize tools automatic count,tools information report,and tools return reminder,and aslo can greatly reduce inventory cost.This Web software has a good fit for improving the company's overall informatization and intelligentization.
