Research And Analysis Of MySQL Protocol In Database Audit System

Database system is an important system of the information system to store and access historical data, process data. The phenomenon of database system management personnel and the outsiders taking advantage of system management authority to malicious tampering data happens a lot. Therefore, the security of the database is needed, and the audit method proposed by this paper is one of the important means to protect database security.This paper proposes an audit system of accessing database, which is to bypass the monitoring approach, through the strategy set to achieve a variety of database system security audit. It has the advantage of not affecting the speed of data access between the client and the database server. The database audit system supports MySQL, Oracle, DB2, Server SQL and other database audit, which has been tested in Hebei Province, the Power Grid Corp.In this thesis, we have developed a database audit system based on MySQL database communication protocol. The paper firstly studies the MySQL protocol analysis and the structure of MySQL protocol through using capture tools like WireShark. Through the programming test and rsearching on the open source code provided by MySQL AB, the analysis of MySQL protocol is completed. In this paper, the MySQL protocol is described, and finally the database audit system programming is completed. Through the research of MySQL protocol, this paper makes a contribution to the database audit system to realize the MySQL protocol analysis.
