In recent years,Satellite Internet,especially LEO satellite network,has developed rapidly because of its wide coverage,relatively low cost and flexible networking.However,the rapid movement of LEO satellites poses a new challenge to the routing of interstellar networks.There are two problems in the existing technologies based on virtual topology or virtual node: one is that frequent switching of topology snapshot is easy to cause long delay and jitter;the other is that most technologies do not consider the fault tolerance of satellite network.This thesis studies the extended application of waypoint routing technology based on the constellation motion and inter satellite topology characteristics of LEO satellites.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the key technologies of Satellite Internet,discusses the routing indicators and technical methods of LEO Satellite Internet,and points out the problems of existing routing algorithms.Based on NS-3 simulation platform,combined with the mobile characteristics of LEO satellite,the movement model of LEO satellite is established,and the mobility simulation module of LEO satellite is designed,which provides a visual way to show the changes of satellite topology state,so as to provide an evaluation method for the application benefit of waypoint routing.Then,aiming at the jitter problem of existing LEO satellite routing algorithms,as well as the local routing interruption and service interruption caused by satellite failure,a routing algorithm LWR(LEO satellite Waypoint Routing)is proposed.The algorithm mainly includes the processing of dynamic link and the protection mechanism of faulty satellite,and makes reasonable path planning for the packets affected by the dynamic change of link or faulty satellite in advance through the characteristics of segmented routing.Finally,the LWR algorithm is simulated in NS-3 simulation platform.Based on the developed LEO satellite mobile module,a variety of traffic scenarios are designed,and the routing performance differences between LWR algorithm and other algorithms are compared and analyzed.The results show that the proposed LWR algorithm can effectively avoid the packet transmission loss in the process of satellite crossing polar regions.
