With the increasing requirements for the miniaturization and integration of radar in the field of wireless communication,frequency modulated continuous wave(FMCW)has gained more and more attention in military and civilian applications due to its high precision,low cost,and small size.Compared with pulse radar,FMCW radar has simple structure,high resolution,low transmission power,and has obvious advantages in high-precision distance measurement.The radio frequency transceiver is one of the key components of the FMCW through-wall radar system,and its performance conditions directly determine the difficulty of subsequent signal processing.In this paper,the zero-IF structure is used as the transceiver structure.Compared with the superheterodyne structure,it has the characteristics of low power consumption,small size,and no mirror interference.This paper mainly researches and designs the RF front-end in FMCW through-wall radar.First,the basic principle of FM continuous wave and its basic working structure are explained,and then after synthesizing several common signal source synthesis methods,the PLL frequency synthesis method suitable for zero-IF structure is selected,and then the zero-IF RF transceiver system is introduced in detail.Including low-noise amplifier circuit design,mixing circuit design,and receiving switch circuit design in the receiver;power divider circuit design,power amplifier circuit design,and transmitting switch circuit design in the transmitter;power supply circuit design and design for the entire system Control circuit design.The circuit layout design has been completed,processed and tested.The transceiver system and the signal source have good test performance.As a radio frequency front end,it can ensure the good work of the FMCW through-wall radar system.
