In recent years,Radio Frequency Identification(RFID)technology has been widely used in various fields in people's daily life.It uses RF signal to realize wireless power supply,non-contact,non-line-of-sight automatic identification for static or mobile targets,which is used for information perception and integration.With the rapid development of Internet of Things(Io T)technology,RFID sensor technology,which integrates RFID and sensor devices,has become a research hotspot.It can simultaneously acquire the identity information and sensor measurement data in the way of wireless energy and data synchronous transmission,which becomes a potential information interface technology to solve the application problems of the Io T.In view of the advantages and disadvantages of common Ultra-high Frequency(UHF)and High-Frequency(HF)RFID sensors in practical application,a dual-mode RFID sensor integrating UHF and HF read-write functions is proposed,which can read and write sensor data through two working modes of UHF(915 MHz)and HF(13.56 MHz).In this dissertation,the antenna design,RF energy harvesting,sensor data integration and acquisition are discussed,and the design development and experimental verification are completed.The main work of this dissertation includes the following aspects:Firstly,according to the problems of UHF and HF RFID sensors meet the requirements of different Io T applications,the advantages of UHF-HF integrated RFID sensors in Io T applications are analyzed,and the integration scheme,hardware and software system structure of all passive,ultra-low power dual-mode RFID sensors based on Farsens Rocky100 UHF RFID chip and Ti RF430 HF RFID chip are designed.Secondly,the problem of selecting the power supply interface for UHF and HF RF energy harvesting during the operation of the integrated RFID sensor,a power judgment circuit is designed to judge the power supply source.When the sensor is in the process of identification,the Master MCU determines the RF data interface according to the power judgment circuit,and realizes the integration of two working modes.Then,in order to ensure the universality of the designed sensor,that is,to be able to read and write data using a universal RFID reader,a data storage and transmission method based on UHF Electronic Product Code(EPC)protocol user segment data memory and HF NDEF NFC Data Exchange Format(NDEF)is designed.Finally,the function of the sensor is verified by experiments,and the performance is evaluated.The results show that the designed sensor has successfully realized two working modes of UHF and HF.It can easily read the sensor measurement data through the universal RFID reader and the mobile phone supporting NFC function.The paper also demonstrates the feasibility and great potential of RFID sensor as information interface in the future IoT applications.
