In recent years, with the advancement of science, wireless sensor networks have also achieved rapid development, and have been applied in many different fields with excellent results. At the same time, its rapid development has also brought greater technical challenges.Because wireless sensor networks are data-centric networks, users are more concerned about data.So data management is very necessary.Data storage is one of the important research technologies. The main idea is how to determine the storage location of data so as to ensure that users can obtain the required information efficiently and conveniently.Based on the research and analysis of existing data storage algorithms, this paper aims at reducing energy consumption and load balancing.A centralized storage scheme based on dynamic clustering and an adaptive data storage that matches data priority and node distribution algorithms are proposed. The main research results are as follows.1.For small scale wireless sensor networks,a centralized storage scheme based on dynamic clustering is proposed. The centralized storage under the LEACH protocol divides the network into logical regions, namely clusters for data management. This scheme improves LEACH protocol from the perspective of forming clusters, which makes it more suitable for centralized storage.Firstly, cluster heads are selected according to the residual energy of the nodes. Then the node will decide whether to join the cluster head by considering storage cost and the distance from the cluster head.If the conditions are met,the node will become the alternative cluster member. Then the cluster head dynamically makes the cluster member nodes exit or join by measuring the cluster size,so as to improve the situation that the cluster size is too large or too small. Finally, after the success of dynamic clustering, the network enters the stage of data collection and storage.Simulation experiments show that the centralized data storage scheme based on dynamic clustering can reduce the network energy consumption, balance the load,so as to prolong the life cycle of wireless sensor networks.2.The big data generated by large-scale wireless sensor networks puts forward higher demands for data storage. The data has complexity and the sensor nodes are generally non-uniformly distributed in real wireless sensor networks. In addition, users have different requirements for data query in different applications. Therefore,an adaptive data storage scheme matching data priority and node distribution is proposed to achieve load balancing and energy saving.Based on users' query requirements, this scheme combines external storage and data centric storage algorithm, which selects the most suitable storage node to achieve the purpose reducing energy consumption. In the data centric storage algorithm,in order to solve the unbalanced load caused by the nonuniform distribution, the standard uniform hash mapping is improved, which matches data priority and node distribution.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme has good performance in load balancing and energy consumption reduction, and can effectively prolong the network lifetime.
