In the past few decades,software performance engineering has received more and more attention from enterprises.If there are performance problems in software applications,it may have a huge negative impact on enterprises and institutions,resulting in direct economic losses,commercial failures,and even social problems.Therefore,the importance of software performance engineering has become more and more important.However,the overall evaluation of software performance engineering complexity evaluation of the target system has always been a difficult and blank area,which leads to high uncertainty in the performance engineering project and cause a lot of obstacles to the smooth implementation.This thesis proposes a performance engineering complexity modeling method that combines performance engineering domain knowledge,project management domain knowledge,real project data,first-line engineer interview data,and statistical data analysis methods.This set of solutions can help the project team to establish a performance engineering complexity model and use this set of models to accurately estimate the performance engineering complexity of the target system,and then calculate the required workload,and guide the performance engineering project team to proceed smoothly on project planning and resource allocation.In the second part of the research,the performance engineering complexity evaluation model is applied to the real performance engineering project in the experimental company to verity its effectiveness.By comparing the real data of 20 projects with the calculation results of the modeling formula,it is confirmed that the complexity modeling solution has achieved an accuracy of more than 80%.Although the experimental data in this paper is not rich enough,the formula derivation method is relatively simple,but it has a certain degree of innovation.The research results of this paper fill the gap in the field of performance engineering overall modeling and have good reference for subsequent research.It has been proved by experiments that it is possible to evaluate the workload of the project accurately under certain conditions,which is of great help to the project portfolio quotation and project planning.It can directly reduce the risk of project failure due to inaccurate evaluation and save a lot of cost for the performance engineering implement company,thereby increasing the company's profit rate.
