In the Internet of Things(Io T)vision,numerous electronic devices interact with each other.The deployment of intelligent solutions makes the digital world smart and autonomous.With the development of technology,this vision has gradually become a reality,but there are still many challenges that need to be solved.The blockchain,as an emerging technology that provides security and trust,has attracted widespread attention.However,the blockchain has huge limitations in scalability,which conflicts with the characteristics of frequent transactions and low consumption of Io T devices.On the other hand,edge computing extends cloud resource services to the distributed edge network,but it faces distributed challenges in security manners.Integrating blockchain and edge computing into the architecture enables reliable access control in network,storage and computing of distributed edge nodes.The architecture provides a large-scale communication interaction service near the terminal nodes.However,the scalability,autonomy,resource management,and security issues of the integration remains to be resolved before widespread deployment.In this paper,we propose a two-layer messaging model,aiming to solve the messaging dilemma in the integration under the Internet of Things.The key points of the blockchain are the security and privacy advantages and it needs to improve the scalability requirements.The key to edge computing is the benefits of scalability in a distributed manner and its requirements are the secure and effective control.The integrated messaging model effectively utilizes the different advantages and complementarities of blockchain and edge computing.The two-layer consensus algorithm in the architecture makes the blockchain more balanced in terms of scalability,distribution,and consistency by dynamically balancing the two-layer design.The multi-messaging protocol framework and privacy encryption mechanism proposed in the model,combine with the characteristics of the underlying terminal devices and use top-level edge computing features to ensure secure access.The simulation shows that in the future Io T application scenario integrating blockchain and edge computing,the architecture proposed in this paper has better performance and practical application value for a large number of resource-constrained terminal devices.The results show that the consensus algorithm is superior to the same type of consensus in terms of randomness and fault tolerance.The multi-messaging protocol framework is more efficient and has a wider application context than a single messaging protocol.
