In recent years, the Internet of Things has covered all aspects of human social life.IoT devices are typically deployed in open environments and provide innovative services in a wide range of application areas, such as smart cities, smart health and smart communities. In an open environment,IoT devices need to be identified and authenticated to each other in order to ensure the security and integrity of the data exchanged. The identity authentication of IoT devices has become one of the key security issues in the application field of the IoT.However, most of the existing authentication schemes for IOT devices rely on the trusted authority to generate certificates, which is vulnerable to a single point of failure. On the other hand, devices of the Internet of Things are resource-limited devices, and most of the device authentication schemes cannot guarantee that devices of the Internet of Things can achieve inter-regional authentication. Therefore, how to achieve cross-domain authentication between IoT devices is also a challenge. In view of these problems, this paper focuses on the research of IoT device certification scheme based on blockchain and fog computing. The main work is as follows:1)Aiming at the problem of single point of failure that is likely to occur in the authentication process of traditional centralized Internet of Things devices,a decentralized IoT device certi fication scheme based on blockchain and fog computing was proposed. The scheme is based on blockchain and fog computing, which records the hash value of Internet of Things device information into the blockchain through smart contract, and supervises the call of identity through smart contract. The fog node is used to complete the heavy computing work of Internet of Things devices. The fog node and device security communication protocol are used to verify the identity of devices. The mutual authentication between devices is realized through smart contract, and the accessed validity period is added for devices. Finally, the safely analysis and experimental evaluation show that this scheme is feasible.2)Aiming at the cross-domain authentication requirements of Internet of Things devices,a cross-domain authentication scheme of Internet of Things devices based on blockchain and fog node reputation is proposed. This scheme is based on the Alliance Blockchain and designs a cross-domain authentication ticket for IOT devices in blockchain. The hash value of the ticket structure is written into the block chain through the smart contract, and the imtamperability of the block chain is used to guarantee the authenticity of the ticket. In this scheme, the authentication server is introduced as the authentication node in the alliance chain, which is responsible for issuing tickets and verifying the identity of cross-regional IoT devices. The fog node is introduced as the non-certified node in the alliance chain, and the heavy computing work of the Internet of Things devices is completed by the fog node.At the same time,we propose a credibility mechanism to evaluate the credibility of fog nodes and IoT devices,to avoid threats from malicious nodes to the network, and to ensure the transparency and traceability of the device certification process. Finally, the safety analysis and experimental evaluation show that this scheme is more advantageous.
