| With the advent of the 5G smart era, more smart products use voice interaction technology for human-computer interaction.Because of its "free hands" convenience feature,it has been strongly sought after by consumers at home and abroad, but it is characterized by the intrusive characteristics of smart technology. The problem of privacy intrusion caused cannot be ignored. The intrusive feature of technology emphasizes the user’s evaluation perception, which means that the user will produce a series of evaluations on the product in the process of using the technical product, such as usability, dynamics, intrusiveness, etc.Equipped with various advanced technology applications the intrusive manifestations of products are also different. For example, smart wearable devices obtain your health information by real-time monitoring of physiological data;smart voice speakers monitor your daily life through intrusive features such as unconscious wake-up and personalized advertisement recommendations. It is these specific smart products that have intrusive characteristics that trigger users’ perception of privacy intrusion, and ultimately cause users to have privacy concerns, which affect their purchase or use intentions, and pressures that affect physical and mental health and the harmony of family members’ interpersonal relationships.Since privacy is a concept closely related to cultural background, domestic users’ understanding and judgment or perception of privacy intrusion may be inconsistent with existing research conclusions abroad. Therefore, understand the degree of domestic users’ perception of privacy intrusion caused by voice interaction technology and the content of exploration or a more comprehensive privacy intrusion measurement tool is necessary. In addition, the research on the factors affecting the perception of privacy intrusion is mainly based on foreigners.Whether the conclusions on the influencing factors in foreign literature are applicable to Chinese people is also worthy of further empirical investigation. This research includes three research parts: The first research was to conduct a questionnaire survey of domestic smart voice speaker users, mainly to explore the use of smart voice speakers and to understand the user’s perception of privacy intrusion caused by voice interaction technology, for the second privacy research the compilation of the intrusion scale provided more dimensional thinking;the second study referred to the survey data of the first study and was based on domestic and foreign literature. It used voice interaction technology to induce privacy intrusion as the research object, and was compiled through user interviews, expert discussions, questionnaire surveys, etc. The privacy intrusion measurement tool, and the reliability and validity test, ensured the testability of the privacy intrusion scale, which laid the foundation for the empirical exploration of Study 3.Study 3 was based on Study 2,taking smart voice speakers as an example, using experiments to simulate the real use scenarios of smart voice speakers, using wake-up mode, gender, and frequency of use as independent variables, and privacy intrusion scale scores as dependent variables. An empirical study of the influencing factors was carried out with the subjects’ personality traits and privacy sensitivity as control variables. The main conclusions of this study were as follows:(1)The domestic users of smart voice speakers were mainly middle-aged and young people with a high level of cultural education. The use scenes were mainly home scenes with living rooms and bedrooms, and users experience the frequency of use based on convenience.Female users were more concerned about privacy than men.In the course of use, unconscious wake-ups occurred more frequently and were likely to cause user dissatisfaction. On the whole, users had insufficient awareness of the intrusive characteristics of smart voice speakers;(2)The privacy intrusion perception scale triggered by voice interactive technology had a total of10 items, and the two factors were "intrusion awareness" and "intrusion judgment".The scale had good reliability and validity, and the fit of the conceptual model was good;(3)Different from existing research conclusions abroad, the wake-up method(with or without conscious wake-up)had no significant impact on the perception of user privacy intrusion.Gender and frequency of use had a significant impact on the perception of privacy intrusion, which was manifested in the fact that women’s perception of privacy intrusion was higher than that of men;the perception of privacy intrusion in highfrequency products was higher than that in low-frequency products, confirming that gender and frequency of use were related to existing. The influencing factors were consistent with the research conclusions. |
