Research On County-level Archives' Exhibitions In Hefei

Five county-level archives in Hefei City have successively started to rebuild in recent five years.The reconstructed archives are all having modern exhibition halls with professional infrastructure for exhibitions.The archives,which are about to move into the new buildings,have entered a new stage: facing a new exhibition platform also means facing new tasks and challenges.The purpose of statistics and analysis of the current exhibitions' situation is to confirm the achievements and to find the shortcomings,so as to facilitate the intuitive and systematic understanding of the current exhibition situation of the grass-roots archives,and provide inspirations for the exhibitions.This paper analyzes five county-level archives exhibitions in the way of combining theory with practice.The guiding significance of archival multiverse and pluralism to the archival exhibitions in China has been deeply discussed.In the practice part,Feixi County,Changfeng County and Chaohu City are selected as the key research objects.Through the investigation of archives,and interviewed the person in charge of the exhibitions,accurate and detailed information has been obtained.Each county-level archive has achieved a lot.First,the exhibition has a wide range of cooperative organizations.Second,modernized exhibition halls are built well,which provided considerable high-tech display equipment.Third,the archives focus on improving the popularity of exhibitions through traditional media and new media.The last one,the archives innovated the interpretation team mode of the exhibition.However,the exhibition work of archives is still in developing.According to the archival multiverse and pluralism,the deficiencies about exhibitions are as follows: the topics of the exhibition are not diversified enough,the archives didn't take the initiative to cooperate with other institutions,the exertion of the exhibition's multiple functions is not enough,the audience structure of the exhibition is simple.Therefore,based on the archival multiverse and pluralism,these five county-level archives need to expand their collection,actively cooperate with other units,give attention to the multiple functions of exhibitions and change the structure of exhibition audience.These suggestions should be considered to help their exhibition work.
