Research And Implementation Of An Icon Input Method Editor-He Xian

With the development of civilization,the sense used to exchange information has become from hearing to vision.And "the era of image reading" turns into a consensus increasingly.As a medium of visual information transmission,symbol language plays an important role in the communication of human groups in the era of picture reading.In this thesis,based on "Harmony",one symbol language proposed by J824 Laboratory of Northwest University,the input method "He Xian" is studied as follows:Firstly,based on the research status of symbol language and the oral culture background,this thesis models the colloquial model of "Harmony" language,to answer how to solve the ambiguity and retrieval problems of "Harmony".Secondly,design an input algorithm to improve the efficiency of "Harmony" symbol combination input.Then according to the characteristics of "Harmony" language colloquial model,the keyboard layout of "He Xian" is designed to optimize the symbol input experience.Last but not least,the "He Xian" system is developed,and the functional components are designed according to the key requirements.And the chord system is implemented and tested.He Xian provides users with the method of "harmony" language symbol combination input,and designs symbol image retrieval and multi context association prediction algorithm to optimize the symbol combination input experience,which has a promoting effect on the realization of symbol information exchange.
