With the application of stealth technology to military equipment,a single search mode radar detection system has been unable to meet the needs of modern air defense.In order to solve the problem of detecting stealth targets,academia has proposed a combination of multiple detection modes.A system that adopts a combination of multiple detections can give full play to the advantages of each single detection mode,improve system search capabilities,and meet actual application requirements.Based on combining multiple detection modes,this topic focuses on the intregrated detection technology of meter wave and sub-millimeter waves as the primary research direction.This article focuses on the feasibility and critical issues of detection technology.The main tasks completed are as follows:1.Research and analyze the feasibility of meter wave detection for stealth targets.First,it examines the stealth effect of the shape design on easy targets and initially verifies the detectability of meter wave on the shape design stealth.After that,modeling and simulation were used to simulate the multi-angle and multi-frequency RCS(Radar Cross Section)of the complex target stealth aircraft F117.Through the RCS analysis,the invalidity of the shape stealth at low frequency is verified,and the detectability of the meter wave to the stealth aircraft is proved.2.Analyze the properties of sub-millimeter wave absorbing materials.First,a comparative experiment of electromagnetic wave attenuation between X-band and sub-millimeter wave under different absorbing materials was carried out to verify the ineffectiveness of stealth absorbing materials to sub-millimeter waves.Later,the rapid imaging of sub-millimeter waves,sensitivity to micro-motion information,and atmospheric attenuation characteristics illustrate the advantages of sub-millimeter waves in detecting and identifying stealth targets.Finally,through the experiment of the absorbing material and the analysis of the sub-millimeter wave performance,the feasibility of the sub-millimeter wave for imaging stealth targets is proved.3.Combined with actual engineering realization,the requirements,and system structure of the entire composite detection system are analyzed,and the overall design of the composite detection system is given.According to the application requirements of composite detection,the basic parameters of meter-wave radar and sub-millimeter-wave radar are designed and demonstrated through radar equations.The basic parameters that meet the requirements of the composite system are finally obtained.
