Now electronic equipment is more and more equipped on the combat platform,there will be electromagnetic interference,increasing the weight of the combat platform,power consumption and other problems,which need to be solved through the integration of detection and communication.Not only in the military field there is a single equipment,vertical equipment need to detect communication integration to solve the problem,in the civil field also need to detect communication integration to solve the problem,for example,in the vehicle can solve the problem of communication between vehicles encounter obstacles is not timely.The integration of detection and communication also helps to coordinate and control the work of electronic equipment on the combat platform in real time,reduce the complexity of scheduling cooperation program,and allocate system resources reasonably.Aiming at the problems of electromagnetic interference,the increase of combat platform volume and the low cooperative combat capability when the detection and communication function is single,this paper carries out the integrated design of detection and communication based on narrow pulse under the integration of time,frequency and space,and designs experiments to verify.The main work is as follows(1)This paper analyzes the composition and working principle of radar system and communication system,obtains the similarities and differences between radar system and detection system,draws the conclusion that the integration of detection and communication is feasible,and designs the integration framework of detection and communication.The integrated waveform of narrow pulse detection and communication is designed.The integrated waveform is multiplied by the conjugate of LFM signal to obtain the communication signal.The frame format including preamble unit and three segment communication symbol is used as the information transmission unit,and the maximum likelihood parallel carrier recovery algorithm based on preamble unit is used to obtain the carrier frequency offset,The timing recovery algorithm of feedforward structure is used to obtain the clock offset,and finally realize the signal synchronization.(2)On the one hand,the ambiguity function of the integrated signal is simulated by MATLAB software.The range ambiguity function and pulse compression gain of the integrated signal and the same type of LFM signal are compared and analyzed when adjusting different symbol numbers.The range resolution is less than 750 meters and the Doppler tolerance is more than 200 k Hz,It shows that the detection performance in theory has no effect on it;On the other hand,the influence of the integrated signal on the communication performance is simulated when the number of modulation symbols is different.(3)In order to verify the performance of the integrated system,according to the research of the integrated system of narrow pulse detection and communication,the hardware and software of the integrated system of narrow pulse detection and communication are designed,and the experimental scheme is worked out.The equipment function,communication rate,bit error rate and other aspects are tested,and the average communication rate is 9.6 Kbps.This paper analyzes the detection performance and communication performance of the integrated system through simulation.The pulse width of the narrow pulse detection and communication integrated system is narrower than that of the same type of integrated system.When the number of code elements is appropriate,the range resolution of the integrated system is higher than that of the same type of LFM signal,and the increase of pulse compression is small,which is acceptable,The integrated communication function of narrow pulse detection and communication is realized.Finally,the communication function of the integrated device is verified by experiments.
