As an main information sensor, high resolution radar play a more and moreimportant role in modern battlefield surveillance, so we should recognize the exigentrequirement of high resolution radar counter. The high resolution radar transmit broad band Pulse Compression signal andcoherent time compression on target echo signal to achieve high resolution in distance.By self-movement of flat roof and makes the target irradiated for more times by theorientation beam, Radar can achieve high resolution in orientation. Finally construct thecontrast of the image via distance and orientation. In this article we mainly discussed target echo simulation technology. Firstly, weworked over the high resolution of echo simulation in radar’s distance by Intra-pulseTime Modulation technology. Secondly, through bring forward the technology ofputting dissimilar Doppler modulation in different distance unit, we researched the highresolution of echo simulation in orientation. Lastly, we studied the technology of targetecho simulation by amplitude modulation.Based on the theory of Intra-pulse Time Modulation, Doppler modulation, amplitude modulation and the theory of coherent compression in high resolution radar,we deduced the expressions of quantitative analysis to scale the capability ofmodulation technology we mentioned. At the same time, we analyzed the performanceby these expressions. All of the work provided the basis in theory for selecting theparameter of intra-pulse time modulation, Doppler modulation and amplitudemodulation. The article summarized the technology of Intra-pulse Time Modulation, dissimilar Doppler modulation in different distance cell and amplitude modulation. Then we deduced the expressions of quantitative analysis. All of the work provided thebasis in theory for target echo simulation technology of high resolution radar.
