Broadband low sidelobe planar array antenna in the airborne vehicle satellite communication detection functions has irreplaceable function,can improve the accuracy of command,radar and electronic guidance control precision sensitivity,so use a feasible and accurate design method to design low sidelobe planar array antenna with broadband is the performance of the antenna is crucial,In this paper,several low-sidelobe planar array antennas with different frequency bands are studied and designed,including:Three wide-band low sidelobe planar array antennas working in C frequency band are designed,all of which are in the form of 4×8 array,and different structures are used to achieve array performance.It includes the comparison between one-dimensional low sidelobe array and two-dimensional low sidelobe array,strip-line feed-grid and microstrip feed-grid,and the comparison between T-node power divider feed-grid and Wilkinson power divider feed-grid.The first one is a one-dimensional low sidelobe array,which adopts the strip-line T-joint and feed method to design the feed net.Its advantages are compact structure and lower sidelobe in the integrated processing.The second type is a two-dimensional low sidelobe array,which adopts the micro-strip line T-joint and feed method to design the feed net.The advantages are simple structure and low cost.The third type is a two-dimensional low sidelopet array,which adopts the method of microstrip line Wilkinson power splitter series and combination to design the feed grid,and has the advantage of free wiring.The feasibility of this design method is proved by the actual processing.Secondly,two types of broadband low sidelobes planar array antennas working in the Ku frequency band are designed,both of which are in the form of 8×16 array.The strip-line T-segment power divider feed network achieves good consistency in the performance of low sidelobes,so it is used in the design of Ku frequency array antennas.One and two types of low sidelobes are designed respectively.The design complexity of these two arrays is higher than that of C-band,mainly due to the increase of feedgrid series.It is proved that the two antennas have good performance in the bandwidth.
