High power microwave technology has the characteristics of high energy,high power and strong interference to electronic equipment.In recent years,the application range of high-power microwaves has gradually expanded from anti-terrorism weapons to the field of people's livelihood security.Mesoband high-power microwaves can cause interference and damage to the operation of typical civilian and military electronic equipment,while not causing fatal harm to humans.High power antenna,as an important radiation device in high power microwave technology,develops more types according to the requirements of the scene,instead of the classical horn antenna,reflector antenna and other forms as the application scene changes.Based on the background of high-power microwave antenna,this paper analyzes and studies the microstrip patch antenna and Vivaldi antenna,the main work of this paper includes:Firstly,it briefly summarizes the development of high-power microwave technology and antennas,several typical high power antennas are briefly introduced.and also lists some new types of high-power antennas that have been studied at home and abroad in recent years.Based on the projects I participated in the postgraduate study,microstrip patch antennas and Vivaldi antennas are selected as the research objects of the thesis.The radiation principle and surface current distribution of the microstrip patch antenna are described in detail,as well as the classic analysis model.The Vivaldi antenna is also studied in detail,and the theoretical analysis is mainly carried out on the feeding coupling structure and the radiation patch which affect the radiation performance,so as to provide a comprehensive theoretical support for the antenna design in the following paper.Secondly,introduced several kinds of microstrip antenna technology to broaden the frequency band,and combined several of them to design an E-type patch microstrip antenna.The antenna adopts E-shaped patch structure and parasitic unit to expand the working bandwidth.The whole antenna adopts suspension structure to increase the antenna profile height and improve the antenna power capacity.The antenna has a bandwidth of 0.54 GHz,maximum in-band gain of 8.6dB and can withstand 1MW input power.For the antenna element array,a 2×2 array is formed.The profile height of the whole antenna is 0.15?.The above antenna elements are array formed to form a 2×2array.The profile height of the whole antenna is 0.15?,and the gain of the array is10.09 dB.Compared with the traditional microstrip antenna,the antenna has a power capacity of megawatt magnitude;Compared with other traditional peak power antennas,the antenna has a lower profile height and a smaller size.Thirdly,a Vivaldi antenna for receiving peak power signals is designed.As a receiving antenna,the antenna has broadband and wide beam Angle characteristics.In order to realize that the antenna has a wider 3dB beam width,a rectangular slot is opened at the symmetrical position of the radiation patch,so that the beam width of the antenna E plane is greater than 90°.The wide beam width leads to the low antenna gain.In order not to affect the beam Angle width and bandwidth,a square metal reflector plate is loaded at the end of the antenna to increase the gain by up to 1.21 dB.Antenna operating frequency band 1.15-1.65 GHz,maximum gain 6.45 dB,3dB beam Angle is greater than 90°.It is proved that the antenna can receive the signal from the peak power antenna.
