In recent years,a new round of technological and industrial transformation,represented by information technology,has been brewing and upgrading.With the surge of data flow,the growth of user devices and the popularization of new applications,the rapid maturity and application of 5G technology are urgently needed.As the frequency of 5G increases,antenna coverage Narrows and loss increases.How to solve the problem of narrow coverage and large loss of 5G antenna is the first problem to be solved in the fifth generation mobile communication.Therefore,the text focuses on the most urgent problems to be solved in 5G communication,and studies how to achieve wide coverage and high gain of 5G antenna to meet the requirements of 5G communication.It should be noted that in practice,plane H is more often used for radiation,while plane E is less frequently used.Therefore,the wide coverage discussed in this paper is limited to plane H of the antenna,that is,the plane parallel to the antenna radiation magnetic field vector.In this paper,5G antenna is taken as an example to carry out research work.The antenna studied corresponds to two key technical points of 5G communication,namely,wide coverage and high gain technology.Starting from both technical point,this paper first introduces the research background and significance of 5 g communication antenna,and elaborates the research situation at home and abroad,then gives the related basic theory,at last the two antennas from structure theory to analysis and design and test verification analysis detailed summary,finally summarized outlook.The brief contents of the antenna studied are as follows:The first design is a magnetic dipole antenna with wide h-plane,three-wire polarization and reconfigurable frequency.By bending the antenna patch,this antenna achieves the wide h-surface performance of the antenna and increases the directional coverage of the antenna.In the range of 5G communication frequency band,the antenna's ultra-wide coverage can reach 160 degrees,which is twice the coverage of ordinary antenna.By using the cross feed structure and single port feed,the function of double port feed is realized skillfully,and the defect of double port feed is avoided effectively.The innovation of its feed structure is reflected in the diodes of its two arms.The on-off of the PIN diode can be controlled by controlling the external dc bias voltage,so as to realize the conversion of three-wire polarization.By changing the bias voltage to change the capacitance of the varactor,the frequency can be reconstructed.In general,through the control of PIN diode and varactor diode,the antenna can realize the conversion of three-line polarization and frequency reconfiguration in 2G/3G/LTE and 5G frequency bands.The second design is a 5G dual-polarization chamber antenna design integrating broadband,low profile,high gain and low roundness.The antenna achieves the above performance with only two single antennas.The horizontal polarization part of the antenna achieves low profile and low non-roundness by introducing parasitic patch to broaden bandwidth and leading element to enhance gain.The relative bandwidth of horizontal and vertical polarization of the antenna was 42.8%(3.3-5.1ghz)and 89.2%(2.3-6.0ghz),respectively.Profile relative height is 0.23?c;The horizontal and vertical polarization gains were 1-3.2dBi and 3.9-7.0dBi,respectively.The roundness of horizontal polarization and vertical polarization was less than 1.49 dBi and 1.05 dBi,respectively.Cross polarization <-24dB;Isolation greater than 27 dB.This antenna introduces a number of innovations,and perfectly combines these innovations into one antenna,forming a 5G dual-polarization chamber sub-antenna with multi-function and great potential application value.Through the above research,the theory and design guidance method of 5G antenna with both wide coverage and high gain will be explored to promote the rapid development of 5G communication.
