Microwave transceiver system has been widely used in mobile communication,radar,satellite,electronic warfare,remote sensing detection and other fields.Microwave up and down conversion module is mainly used to convert RF signal and IF signal,which is an indispensable part of microwave transceiver system.Its performance parameters will directly affect the performance of microwave transceiver system.X-band(8GHz ? 12GHz)has been widely used in military applications,such as radar and satellite,because of its strong anti-jamming ability and low loss.It is also the current research hotspot.Based on the topic,the purpose of this thesis is to design and implement X-band up conversion module and down conversion module,as a part of X-band transceiver display platform.The up-conversion module up converts the S-band IF signal to the X-band RF signal.The down-conversion module down converts the X-band RF signal to the S-band IF signal.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.Introduces the research background and significance of up-down converter module,as well as the development status at home and abroad.According to the requirements of the project,the frequency planning simulation is carried out based on Genesys software,the frequencies of LO,IF signal and RF signal are determined,and the technical indexes and design scheme of up and down conversion module are determined.2.The basic theory of PLL and mixer is studied and analyzed.According to the overall design scheme and indicators,the indicators of each module are allocated,and the devices used are selected and evaluated.Ensure the realizability of the scheme.3.According to the specific scheme,the ADS simulation software is used to design the specific circuit structure,including microstrip filter,mixer,etc.,and the simulation parameters are further optimized to verify that the parameters meet the design requirements.4.Complete the design of each part of the up and down conversion module in turn.Using Altium designer software,complete the schematic and layout drawing,then make up and down conversion module PCB,realize the size of 84 mm * 69 mm circuit board.Finally,combined with the whole hardware system,the test platform is built,and the designed circuit is debugged and summarized.From the test results,the circuit completes the function of up and down conversion,meets the design requirements,and realizes the X-band transceiver display.
