In recent years,the research on vibration tactile sensing has been increasing.Many application scenarios of vibration tactile perception,such as blind navigation,rehabilitation therapy,music teaching and virtual reality,provide more open ideas for the design of vibration tactile coding.Study of vibration tactile information is very valuable,but at present vibration tactile coding is aimed at a specific scenario in specific application of vibration sense.The information usually refers to relatively vague meaning,such as emotion and direction.There is not a set of universal coding scheme suitable for most scenes,thus designing a set of rich and accurate information encoding scheme is very necessary.In order to solve the problems above,this paper implemented a basic vibration information coding scheme based on National key research and development program,and verified its effectiveness and superiority in specific navigation scenarios.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1.A large number of experiments were carried out to study the threshold characteristics of various vibration parameters of the back.The short-term memory capacity of the back for such parameters as vibration intensity,vibration time and spatial drop point was analyzed and compared,and the results of Sternberg's short-term memory experiment were compared likewise.It provides an important physiological and psychological basis for the design of vibration tactile coding scheme.2.The experimental data are analyzed by means of ANOVA and S-R compatibility.A set of optimal vibration tactile coding scheme for the above information is selected.The directional navigation scene is abstracted into seven navigation modes,and specific two parts of the upper back,the backbone and the waist are selected to express the specific mode according to different navigation modes.3.We deeply visited the blind group and learned that the blind people have an urgent need for navigation devices.We find that the guidance devices on the market do not take the stairs and sunken obstacles into account.Therefore,aiming at the steps up and down,sunken obstacles and common patterns,a set of vibration coding for blind navigation is realized by combining the above vibration tactile coding scheme,and it is applied to the vibrating tactile vest.Compared with the traditional walking guide,the recognition accuracy of the tactile coding method is higher and the response time is shorter in the actual test application.At the same time,the expression efficiency of the vibration tactile coding scheme is significantly improved and the walking risk of the blind is reduced.
