In 2020,there was a public health crisis swept the world which is COVID-19,even the Antarctic also has the confirmed cases.Until now,there are also has many countries are suffering from this public health crisis.The outbreak of COVID-19 occurred in Wuhan city,China.The Chinese government took the measures quickly to limit the virus spread for make the Chinese people stay health and safety.After 76 days,the pandemic are under control by Chinese government.On April 8,2020,The Chinese government announced the Wuhan city was unlocked.The U.S.is different with China,until January 5,2021,the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 had surpassed 21 million,with more than350,000 deaths cases.After the COVID-19 outbreak,social media platform play the communication role to improve the communication between the people and the government during the crisis.Meanwhile,official media in China and the U.S,such as People's Daily and the Washington Post,made full use of the power of social media to deliver information to the public and helped curb the COVID-19 outbreak.It can be seen that the official accounts of mainstream media in China and the US are playing a vital role in the outbreak crisis.Researchers take Chinese Weibo and Twitter in the United States as a research platform,the People's Daily official Weibo account and the Washington post official Twitter account released during the outbreak of the new champions league Weibo and Twitter posts as the research sample,for all the tweets and tweets classification and analysis,explores the mainstream media in new crown epidemic crisis official account of similarities and differences.
