Research On Social Media Information Seeking Behaviors Of Health Risk

The rapid development of social media provides people with convenient and fast seeking channels and diversified information selection spaces.Social media has gradually become the main channel for health risk information seeking.With the turning of economic gears,we have entered the "risk society" with uncertainty and harmfulness.In recent years,vaccine incidents have occurred frequently in various places.Vaccines have attracted widespread attention because of their concern for the health of individuals.They have gradually become one of the key issues in health risk issues.In 2018,the Event of ChangSheng Vaccine is the most recent and influential problem vaccine event.The fake vaccine has caused public opinion,the number of reports on vaccines on social media has soared,and the seeking and interaction of relevant information has become more active.Therefore,this paper takes the vaccine issue as an example to explore the main role of social media platform in the seeking of health risk information,and to understand the factors that affect people's seeking intention and seeking behavior,which has certain value.Based on the theory of planned behavior,risk information search and processing model and problem solving situation theory,this study assumes the relationship between variables and constructs the basic model.Using the questionnaire survey method,the parents of children aged 6 and under were surveyed.303 valid questionnaires were collected from parents of children under 6 years old and 6 years old.The data were validated and analyzed by AMOS(23.0)and SPSS(18.0).The study found that the four factors of affective response,behavioral attitude,information insufficiency and subjective norms have a significant positive impact on behavioral intention,and the information insufficiency plays a mediating effect between affective response and behavioral intention.Perceived behavioral control,behavioral intention and situational motivation also have a significant positive impact on seeking behaviors.Therefore,this study continues to explore the reasons for the influence of the path coefficient,and puts forward suggestions for future research.
