| With the rapid development of technology,the concept of patent has become familiar.As a product of technological innovation,patent plays a vital role in related technology fields.The number of patents has become the standard to measure the research ability and technical strength of related enterprises.Patent citation refers to the patent or non patent documents related to and cited by the patent inventor and applicant in the patent application specification,and the documents related to the patent technology listed by the patent examiner when examining the novelty of a patent application.The innovation of technology is a process of accumulating and increasing value.The research on the citation relationship between patents is helpful to deeply understand the characteristics and development prospects of patents,and better overcome the difficulties of technology development and technology development direction.The research on the citation relationship between patents and literature can discover the law of technology development and update,and analyze the knowledge flow between technology and science Besides,it provides competitive intelligence of enterprises.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the patent citation.Based on the distribution of patent applications in the field of 5G,this paper evaluates the patent citation system in China.Firstly,the types and research methods of patent citations are briefly described,and the subject,motivation and norms of patent citations are explained,and how Chinese patent citations are constituted is explained conceptually.In this paper,we download 10237 patents in 5G filed in China from 2010 to 2019 in Derwent patent database,and count 155503 patent citations.The methods of citation analysis,statistical analysis and curve fitting are used.Objective analysis of the time sequence distribution,type distribution and organization distribution in patent citation.Then,we use price’s law to determine 450 representative highly cited patents.This paper comprehensively analyzes the technology distribution of highly cited patents,including the distribution of main patentees,the number of patents of the same family,the distribution of high-yield inventors,and the geographical distribution.It is found that there are a lot of power-law distribution in patent citations.Regression analysis is used to prove the power-law distribution in patent citations,and the reasons for the distribution characteristics are analyzed.The distribution characteristics of Chinese patent citations are verified,and it is found that the core patents in 5G field meet four distribution characteristics.Based on the distribution characteristics,the evaluation index is established,and the weight is determined by AHP.The corresponding patent evaluation system is established.In the application,the 5G patents applied in China from 2015 to 2017 are scored.The top 1% patents are defined as core patents.Because it is difficult to accurately measure the patent value,this paper makes a Spearman correlation analysis on the patent score by referring to the patent market value of patsnap database,and finds that there is a significant correlation between the score and the patent value,which indicates that the evaluation system has a certain objectivity.Then the patentee distribution,technology field distribution and core inventor distribution of core patents are statistically analyzed,and some competition situation and technology research development situation of 5G field technology development in China are obtained,and suggestions for technology development are put forward.This has a certain reference value for the development of 5G communication technology in China.Therefore,it has a certain practical significance for the analysis and Application Research of Chinese patent citation distribution characteristics. |
