With the rapid development of wireless access technology,large-scale deployment of heterogeneous wireless networks, and the further integration of mobile communication and Internet technology,China has witnessed great Internet user growth in recent years, especially mobile Internet users. How to integrate heterogeneous multi access technology, make rational use of wireless network resources, and improve the transmission performance of application data, especially real-time video data, has become a research focus of researchers at home and abroad. However, when users visit network applications requiring large amount of data and high bandwidth(such as VR(Virtual Reality),AR(Augmented Reality)video data),using the traditional TCP(Transmission Control Protocol)or UDP(User Datagram Protocol)for single path data transmission, often causes data transmission delay and affect throughput performance because of the small bandwidth of a single link.To solve the problem,IETF(Internet Engineering Task Force)proposes a high coupling multipath transmission protocol(Multipath Transmission Control Protocol MPTCP)for existing network equipment and application interface, which has achieved data transmission with high performance and improved the utilization of wireless resources.Although the MPTCP protocol is considered to be the most conducive to ensuring the user's perceived quality of service when the transmission conditions are bad,the MPTCP protocol still has shortcomings in network data transmission. Here are its shortcoming: The main manifestation is that traditional MPTCP often makes decisions through the sender. The receiver lacks subjective initiative and can only passively make corresponding operations based on the instructions sent by the sender. This will increase the time of data transmission and increase the realization flow.Media transmission requires high real-time and high quality requirements. To copy with these weaknesses, based on the standard MPTCP protocol, this paper designs a multi-path TCP transmission solution,recPR-MPTCP(receiver-centric Partial-Reliable for MPTCP),which integrates the intelligence of the receiving end and the real-time application characteristics of the network. The detailed method of the solution is to establish a functional module at the receiving end and the sending end respectively, namely stream partial-reliability engine(SPE)and stream multipathing engine(SME).The key point of the solution is to move part of the reliable decision of the sender from the sender to the receiver, and change the path quality evaluation method from Round Trip Time to One-Way Delay.By building a multi-path network simulation scene on NS2(Network Simulator version 2)simulation platform, the performance of multi-path network simulation scene is compared with that of standard MPTCP,such as data sending and receiving time,DSN(Data Sequence Number)disorder,end-to-end delay, jitter measurement and average throughput. The experimental results show that the proposed recPR-MPTCP protocol meets the specific Qo S(Quality of Service)requirements of streaming media applications, and improves the utilization efficiency of network resources to the maximum.
