Researches On The Philosophies And Cases Of Children's Area Exhibition In The Museum

At present,domestic museums mainly plan children's exhibitions or implement education projects to meet the needs of children's participation.Among them,children's exhibition area in museum is one of the modes of children's exhibitions,that is,focus on children of a certain age by opening up a fixed exhibition hall in the museum,combining with the characteristics of the main museum,providing relevant interactive exhibition items for children,and implementing the philosophy of "learning by playing",it has gradually become a new highlight and new trend of the extension of children's education function of the museum.Although many children's areas in museum have been born in China,because the children's education in museums was first developed in western countries,it is also different from traditional education and has great particularity.Therefore,most of the children's areas in museum are still in the stage of development and exploration experience,and there are still many problems behind them.In the relevant educational theories at home and abroad,educators such as Piaget,Chen Heqin and Tao Xingzhi advocate such educational philosophies as "age-specific education" and "education integrated into life",which still have important reference value for domestic museums to do a good job in children's education in the new era.Take the "Children's World" exhibition hall of Guangdong Science Center and the "Nanyue Playing Kingdom" interactive area of Guangzhou Nanyue King Museum of Western Han Dynasty as examples,it is clear that there are some problems in the children's area exhibition of museum in Guangzhou,such as less quantity,less types,lack of integration with local culture and so on.To explore the ideal mode of children's areas exhibition of museum in Guangzhou,we can divide it into two types of target audience for exhibition planning,that is,the exhibition items for children aged 3?7 should be presented by means of games,while the exhibition items for children aged 7?12 should be presented by means of game learning,and based on the local culture,the specific ideas of the exhibition items are put forward.The concept of "Children's Areas in Museum" has a long process from being promoted as a new area in China.However,the healthy growth of children has always been an important issue concerned by the party and the state,and in recent years,"children's education" has been paid more and more attention by the domestic museum circles,which makes us have enough reasons to believe that the good wishes of building children's special zone for children and further realizing the localization of children's education in museums will be realized.
