Research On The Development Strategy Of Guangxi Normal University Press

Firstly, the thesis is based on researches of University Press at home and abroad, through summarizing analysis, discussing the common law of the University Press development. Secondly, using strategic management theories and analytical tools to analyze external and internal environment of Guangxi Normal University Press, focusing on the macroeconomic environment, industrial environment and business publishing resources, capabilities and core competencies, appointing publishing opportunities,threats,strengths and weaknesses, to provide scientific provisions to study and formulate development strategies for Guangxi Normal University Press. Thirdly, the thesis re-plans the purpose, mission and vision of Guangxi Normal University Press, and use the SWOT method to proposed a strategic options in coming periods, namely:professional development strategies, international development strategy, diversification strategy, joint development strategy, differentiation strategy and the development of digital strategy. Finally, the thesis provides the ways to put the development strategies of Guangxi Normal University Press into effect.The thesis devotes to combining the corporate strategy management theory and practice of the individual University Press, making some understanding for how University Presses analyze research and choose their own development strategies. I hope to achieve a goal that to provide a reference for Guangxi Normal University Press. Furthermore, it can provide references for exploring the development strategies to other University Press.
