In the past few years,with the rise of major online platform promotions,promoting the accelerated development of the country's courier industry,and thus the emergence of a large number of courier companies;on the other hand,the pace of contemporary life is increasingly fast,it is difficult for consumers to have the energy to buy goods offline,we prefer to buy online and experience a variety of services.As a result,competition in the express delivery industry has intensified.If the courier company wants to occupy a certain position in this field,then the company can optimize the transfer center site operation process as an important task of the enterprise.At present,the domestic courier company's transfer center site operation level is relatively low,and the cost of manual express mail sorting at the end of the conveyor belt and express mail distribution costs account for a large proportion of the company's costs.Therefore,the end-of-conveyor manual shipment sorting strategy and distribution vehicle path optimization become an important way for express companies to reduce costs.This paper takes the Wuxi Transfer Center of Z company as the research object.According to the actual research,the Wuxi Transfer Center is facing problems such as insufficient sorting personnel at the end of the conveyor belt,low sorting efficiency,and difficulties in managing the loading of the secondary stations by their own trucks.In order to solve this problem,this paper firstly uses K-means to cluster the 140 secondary sites.Secondly,based on the study of the current situation of distribution vehicle paths in the transfer center and the results of the clustered secondary sites,in order to minimize the total cost,the mathematical model of vehicle path planning with soft time window is established and solved by genetic algorithm.Finally,taking the line balancing method as a reference,a sorting strategy optimization algorithm based on destination fixed-order combination algorithm and destination dynamic combination algorithm is proposed.The two proposed optimization methods are simulated and analyzed separately by Flexsim simulation software,from which a better optimization method for sorting operations is selected.In this paper,we optimize the distribution vehicle paths and conveyor end sorting strategies in the Wuxi transfer center of Z'company,which improves the shortage of sorting personnel,low delivery efficiency,and difficult management,balances and improves the work efficiency of sorting personnel,and improves distribution Efficiency,reduce the cost of the transshipment center,and gain a greater market share.
