With the continuous development and expansion of the infant and child swimming industry,more and more parents send their children to infant swimming venues to swim.Although protected by swimming rings,safety monitoring and protection measures have not been updated in time.Infant and child drowning incidents occur frequently,and a moment of negligence by parents or the staff will lead to a tragedy.With the continuous development of the Internet,computers have been able to make human production and life more secure and reliable.For the safety of infant swimming pools,computers can also provide help of drowning monitoring.Regardless of whether someone is looking after the children in the infant swimming pool,there will be safety guarantees.The computer can monitor in real time and alarm at the instant of danger,so that the child who is in an accident can get help from the parents in time,and reduce the chance of drowning death.At present,there are many researches on swimming drowning at home and abroad.There are water video surveillance and underwater video surveillance.However,they are mainly for adults or older children,and they are mainly in swimming pools without protection.However,infants and young children have their special characteristics.They need to swim freely on the water under the protection of a swimming ring,and their drowning status is also different from adults.Hence,adult drowning monitoring is not suitable for infant swimming.At the same time,various wearable drowning sensing devices have a strong foreign body sensation when worn,and are mainly targeted at children or adults who swim normally.So they are not suitable for infants and young children.Therefore,a study was performed on the infant swimming scene.We try to detect and mark the infants and young children in the swimming pool in each frame after obtaining real-time video of the infant swimming pool,and at the same time determine whether there is drowning or drowning trend of infant or child.Realizing the monitoring of drowning in infant swimming pools requires the computer to monitor and process the real-time video,including the following parts:(1)video frames reading,(2)video frames target detection,and(3)target image drowning judgment.This dissertation briefly introduces video frames reading and video frames target detection,and mainly proposes two methods of infants drowning judging for the target drowning judgment part.One algorithm is the SIFT rotation angle drowning judgment method.After preprocessing the two frames of the target infant's initial state and current state,the SIFT algorithm is used to obtain the corresponding key point set with high matching between two frames of images.Then,through matching degree comparison,we select the best two pairs of matching key points from the set of key points,and record the coordinate position.Secondly,obtain the rotation center of the target through the coordinate connection of the corresponding key points of the two target images and record the center coordinates.Then use the knowledge of mathematical geometry to calculate the target rotation angle(that is,the angle of the infant leaning forward or backward when swimming)through the coordinates of the rotation center and the key points.Finally,compare the angle with the set dangerous angle threshold to judge whether the target is drowning.Another algorithm is the method of judging drowning by extracting nine-grid eigenvalues.First obtain the target image of the current frame detected by the target and perform a series of processing on it,including modifying the size to make the image uniform,converting it to a grayscale image,opening operation,binarizing,and etc.Then,the processed image is divided into nine grids in a 3 × 3 way.Secondly,the feature values(the proportion of pixels in the foreground part)of each part is extracted.Finally,the characteristic value is compared with the safety conditions to judge whether swimming infants and young children are drowning or have a tendency to drown.
