Solid State Power Controller(SSPC),as a new type of power distribution and protection executive device with both relay conversion function and circuit breaker protection function,is an intelligent solid state electronic switch.SSPC with bus co mmunication interface is an important part of modern intelligent power distribution system.Its high reliability,strong scalability and good maintainability have made it widely used in intelligent power distribution systems in recent years.Based on the research of traditional SSPC,this paper conducts an in-depth study on the intelligent SSPC with Multifunction Vehicle Bus(MVB)communication interface that can be applied to the train field.On the basis of summarizing and analyzing relevant domestic and foreign documents,a design scheme of multi-channel solid-state power controller with MVB communication interface that can be applied to train communication network is proposed.In the design process of the scheme,work was mainly carried out from the following aspects.First of all,based on the research of traditional SSPC,we summarized several key technologies during the design and conducted in-depth comparative studies to determine the technical solutions suitable for this program.The key technologies studied include protection technology,surge suppression technology,and telemetry technology.,Bus communication,etc.,which focuses on the realization of SSPC short circuit protection,inverse time overcurrent protection(I~2t)and current telemetry technology,and proposes an overcurrent protection design based on current effective value detection data and inverse time overcurrent protection algorithm Program.Secondly,research on MVB bus communication technology,through the study of IEC61375-1"Railway Electrical Equipment-Train Bus Part 1:Train Communication Network(TCN)"and other related documents,designed a microprocessor and MVB real-time protocol based The MVB bus transceiver completes the MVB bus communication function.Finally,a new generation of wide-bandgap semiconductor Silicon carbide(Sic)and its applications are deeply studied,and on this basis,a multi-channel solid-state power controller with MVB bus communication function based on Sic MOSFET is developed.The products developed have the characteristics of high reliability,light weight and scalability.
