Silica gel is the adsorbing material which has high activity.Its chemical properties are stable and porous,so it is often used as the support of some catalysts.However,due to the large amount of hydroxyl and chemical water on the surface of silica gel,these substances will affect the activity of catalyst,so silica gel needs to be activated by high temperature before being used as catalyst carrier.In the activation process,the furnace temperature will have large capacity lag and time constant problems,which will seriously affect the efficiency and quality of silica activation,and may cause safety accidents.Therefore,it is very important to develop a safe and efficient monitoring system of silica activation.According to the needs of manufacturers and the analysis of silica activation process,a control scheme is proposed,which uses SHCAN intelligent measuring and controlling component to complete the control layer design of the lower computer,and uses FIX configuration software to complete the monitoring layer design of the upper computer.In the control layer design,SHCAN can be used to analyze and calculate the input signals of temperature,pressure and gas flow in the activation process,then it will generate the control signals,the signals are sent to drive the control equipment.And according to the control requirements and the quantity of I/O,we can complete the duty of hardware selection and hardware resource allocation.At the same time,the control layer also needs to complete the following tasks: drawing the double line circuit diagram,designing the configuration of the lower computer and setting the initial parameters of database.In the design of monitoring layer,the communication variable table of FIX is designed to complete the assignment of real-time database address and the network card address,then finish the tasks of setting I/O drive programmer and creating the process database,and then FIX can be used to build the man-machine interfaces.Respectively,these interfaces are activation process,data monitoring,parameter setting,data overview,historical data record and system fault alarm.After repeated simulation and debugging,the monitoring system of silica gel activation furnace designed in this paper can realize the relevant control functions of silica gel activation process and meet the monitoring requirements of the system.
