Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)have great potential and application value in the civil and military fields. When the UAV completes the task, compared with the single UAV system, the multi-UAV cooperates to complete a task with higher efficiency and lower cost, and the coordinated tasks between the UAV groups need to use Ad Hoc network. However,in the process of performing the mission, the node will continually join or leave the network, causing the relative position of the node to change, resulting in a highly dynamic change of the topology. At the same time, the rapid movement and limited energy characteristics of the UAV nodes will also bring great challenges to the design of the network. The content and research objectives of this paper include two aspects: one is to use OMNet++ software to build the simulation platform of UAV Ad Hoc network with the construction of 3d view. These include the configuration of the UAV node module, the design of the network structure system and the configuration of the network topology, and configuring the network parameters based on the characteristics of the UAV ad hoc network. On the other hand, this paper is to select a routing protocol suitable for UAV Ad Hoc network and optimize and improve it according to the characteristics of UAV nodes.Because in the process of UAV mission will be to delay put forward higher requirements,so the thesis chose a proactive routing protocol OLSR protocol. However, the high-speed movement and limited energy of the UAV nodes in the UAV Ad Hoc network make the MPR node may lose the MPR qualification, resulting in increased delay and overhead.Aiming at the problem, this paper proposes an MPR set selection algorithm based on node speed and energy. The HELLO packet is used to detect node energy and speed in the process of neighbor detection. Then, before the MPR election, the one-hop neighbor is preprocessed according to the node speed and energy. Therefore, the node with low speed and low energy never becomes an MPR node. After the node is excluded, the node's speed and energy are weighted again when the node's willingness value is the same, and the optimal MPR node is selected. Finally, the simulation of 2D and 3D view of UAV Ad Hoc network is completed, and the performance of routing protocol is analyzed under the established UAV simulation platform. In the simulation process,end-to-end delay, throughput and packet delivery rate are calculated respectively. In addition, due to the energy problem of the node, the energy consumption of the node is also counted.Simulation results show that the OLSR protocol and the improved OLSR protocol, which takes into account node speed and energy MPR election mechanism, have good performance in the simulation of UAV Ad Hoc network.
