With the development of the wireless communication industry, beamforming technology has received more and more attention.Beamforming technology can be widely used in radar, resource exploration, global satellite positioning system and base station antenna. In this paper, the maximum power transmission efficiency is used as the research method. The quadratic constraint quadratic optimization is introduced to shape the far-field pattern of the antenna.A far-field transmission system is formed by introducing an auxiliary receiving antenna and a transmitting array antenna, and calculating the scattering coefficient of the transmission system to obtain the amplitude and phase excitation required for the design.Because this method considers the coupling between array elements and the array scattering coefficients that include complex environments, this method can also be applied well in unknown environments. The main work of this article includes:1.Firstly,a 16-element two-dimensional array antenna with an operating frequency of5.8GHz is designed. It can be used in stadium communication with the constraint power optimization theory.By placing 9 receiving antennas in the target area and distributing them circularly, the far-field circular flat-top pattern is synthesized. The simulation and actual measurement results show that at the target area, the fluctuation of the flat top part is only0.7dB.2.Secondly,Based on the above work,an 8-element flat-top shaped array antenna with an operating frequency of 5.8GHz was designed.By placing 9 receiving antennas in the target area and presenting them in a rectangular distribution, the far-field rectangular flat-top pattern is synthesized. The simulation and actual measurement results show that the maximum fluctuation in the flat-top coverage area is only 0.5dB.
