In order to meet the needs of urban infrastructure informatization monitoring and management, the WSN(Wireless Sensor Network)technology can be reasonably used to assist the construction of the monitoring management platform to promote the development of smart city infrastructure construction. As one of the important branches of WSN development, the routing protocol has many practical applications in environmental monitoring, but due to the diversification of routing protocol research directions and performance limitations, especially the application standards of WSN are't yet mature in infrastructure monitoring.it is more important to design a suitable energy-efficient routing protocol in WSNs.In order to solve the above problems,we propose two suitable energy-efficient routing protocols for three-dimensional(3D)spherical space and 3D cube space in WSNs.We improve the performance of the routing protocol based on the specific 3D infrastructure building network structure and the energy consumption model of the nodes.Including the node deployment, node of clustering, routing strategy and the network topology.meanwhile,we compare and analyze the designed routing protocol by simulationits, its main work is as follows:(1)We introduced the research status of infrastructure monitoring applications by using the technology of WSN,and systematically described the architecture and key technologies of WSN.The LEACH protocol is used to elaborate the iterative process of the cluster routing protocol,as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the LEACH protocol and the elaboration and comparison of the other three protocols.(2)When we are designing a energy-efficient routing protocol in a 3D spherical network,we first derive the optimal number of clusters in the network based on the newly proposed 3D spherical network structure and the energy consumption model.Secondly,to alleviate the trouble of cluster size equilibrium during clustering, the similarity is introduced on the basis of distance measurement to optimize the clustering algorithm to reduce the difference in distance between nodes in the cluster. The variable parameters of the cluster head election function are simulated and verified to determine the optimal cluster head function during the cluster head election. Finally, the simulation comparison with the other four routing protocols in homogeneous and heterogeneous networks shows that our protocol is more robust in terms of network energy consumption balance.(3)In the design of the WSN energy-efficient routing protocol in the 3D cube network,we first considered the deployment method of nodes and proposed a node deployment strategy based on dual coverage. At the same time,we construct network service quality indicators to measure the integrity and effectiveness of the information perceived by nodes.Secondly, the greedy strategy of Bellman Ford algorithm is combined with the energy consumption model to determine the routing strategy of each cluster head.It can balance the energy consumption of the whole cluster head in the network. Finally,we conduct simulation analysis in a homogeneous network, and use the network service quality evaluation system to analyze and compare the performance of various routing protocols in multiple dimensions. The results show that our protocol can obtain a longer network survival time.In this paper,we design a low-power reliable transmission protocol suitable for the 3D network structure. It provides technical support for infrastructure monitoring application.
