The backbone network is the central transmission system of Internet traffic,and the slight disturbance on the backbone network will affect the operation of the entire Internet.The visualization of the backbone network topology helps to quickly locate network faults and ensure routing security.This paper designs and implements a backbone network topology visualization system,which is used to reconstruct,collect,analyze,store and visualize backbone network topology information,so as to provide technical support for operators and national network security management.The main work of this article includes the following parts:First,the requirements analysis and outline design of the system are carried out.Demand analysis includes three aspects:overall demand analysis,functional demand analysis and system performance demand analysis;the overall architecture of the system is designed,four major functional modules of the system are determined:topology information collection module,data analysis and storage module,topology query With AS path prediction module and local topology visualization module;briefly introduces the design ideas of each functional module.Secondly,based on the Kafka and DoubleTree algorithms,the topology information collection module is designed and implemented in detail,which decouples the connection between the modules and improves the efficiency of active detection;based on the understanding of the operation principle of the BGP protocol,the data analysis and storage module is performed The detailed design and implementation are completed,the three rounds of analysis of BGP traffic and the storage of backbone network topology information are completed;based on the Libevent network library,the topology query and AS path prediction modules are designed and implemented in detail,Solve the problem of data retrieval in high concurrency scenarios;based on the Vis-network component,the local topology visualization module was designed and implemented in detail,the display of the backbone network AS-level and backbone router-level local topology was completed.Finally,a comprehensive test was carried out on the system,including functional test and performance test,and the test results were analyzed.Use this system to conduct passive analysis of cross-border BGP traffic combined with active detection methods to collect the network topology of the backbone network.In three months,105,171 pieces of backbone IP information,9015 backbone router information,and 67,687 AS domain information were obtained.The query response time of the system in a concurrent scenario is about 36.42 milliseconds,which can meet the query requirements of users.
