In recent years,with the development of museums in China,the demand for using digital technology to enhance the display function of museums has been increasing.Virtual museum has achieved great success in application.However,due to the limitations of funds,equipment,data and other issues,the application scope and display capacity of virtual museums are limited.Under this circumstance,this paper takes the data of museum cultural relic's pattern as an example,designs and implements a knowledge reasoning and visualization system for museum cultural relic's pattern by using knowledge expression,force-directed placement and path-ranking based knowledge reasoning,in order to expand the dissemination and display ability of knowledge related to museum cultural relic's pattern.This paper first summarizes the research status of museum visualization,knowledge reasoning and relationship graph,describes the important concepts and theoretical basis of the technology of museum cultural relic's pattern.Then,according to the display demand of museum cultural relic's pattern,the display capability of the museum is enhanced through three technologies:knowledge representation,force-oriented map visualization and path inference.Finally,a knowledge reasoning and visualization system for museum cultural relic's pattern is designed and implemented,and a Short Affect Intensity Scale based micro-phenomenological methods is developed according to the evaluation needs of narrative visualization.Our knowledge reasoning and visualization system for museum cultural relic's pattern combines the existing museum data specification and knowledge organization,formulates the data specification of cultural relics pattern,puts forward a knowledge expression model based on multi-modal,multi-attribute,multi-dimensional and multi-hierarchy,and implements it with resource description framework.According to the visualization requirements of relationship graph in Web,our system uses persistent homology to optimize the force-directed Voronoi-based method to improve the visualization effect.By introducing the topological structure features to optimize attentive path ranking based knowledge reasoning method,finally,a knowledge inference and visualization system for museum cultural relic's patternn is designed and implemented,and a scale is used to evaluate the system which shows that the system can effectively display the content of museum cultural relic's pattern.
