Real stereoscopic visual experience is the direction of human beings' continuous pursuit and exploration in the field of imaging.Integral imaging display technology is one of the most promising 3D display technologies at present.It has many advantages,such as true color,complete parallax,multi-perspective,simultaneous viewing and no visual fatigue.In recent years,the related theories of integral imaging display system innovation research and practical applications have been greatly developed.Many internationally well-known universities,research institutions and companies concerned about the imaging display technologies.This technology has become a hot research topic in the field of naked eye 3D stereoscopic display.However,the integral imaging system still has some problems to be solved in image acquisition,stereo display of large screen and improvement of viewing effect.In the traditional integrated imaging display system,the light emitted by each element image is a conical diffused light in the scattering direction.The light entering the adjacent lens will cause crosstalk and aliasing to the surrounding viewpoint due to the close arrangement of the display lens array which may reduce the display resolution and viewing effect.In order to improve the clarity of the display,on the basis of theoretical analysis,we conducted in-depth research on the problem of light crosstalk,and proposed the corresponding solution.At the same time,the experimental renderings and correlation analysis were given by building an experimental platform,at the same time,the software is used for simulation,and the experimental platform of the integrated imaging display system is built,and the experimental renderings and correlation analysis are given.In this paper,the imaging process of an ideal imaging system is analyzed with a single lens as a representative by the light field theory analysis based on Angle spectrum and diffraction.In the ideal imaging system,we can regard the image as being a convolution of the image predicted by geometrical optics with an impulse response that is the Fraunhofer diffraction pattern of the exit pupil.Based on the theoretical derivation of the pulse response,we design and make the shielding plate.The holes of the shielding plate are arranged in odd and even patterns,so that the imaging display system is closer to the ideal optical system.In this paper,the imaging process of an ideal imaging system is analyzed with a single lens as a representative by the light field theory analysis based on Angle spectrum and diffraction.In an ideal imaging system,we can think of the image as the convolution of the image predicted by geometrical optics with the Fraunhofer diffraction image of the outgoing pupil ray.According to the theoretical derivation of impact response,this paper designs and manufactures the shielding plate,which makes the integrated imaging display system closer to the ideal optical system.The holes in the shielding plate are arranged in a checkerboard pattern,which solves the problem of light crosstalk and aliasing between adjacent lens elements.Although the application of the shielding plate solves the problem of low imaging resolution,it has a new impact on the imaging effect.The use of the shielding plate leads to the problems of low brightness and holes in the imaging.In order to solve the above problems,this paper designs and makes a diffusion screen.The diffusion screen diverges the incoming light at a specific Angle to achieve the function of continuous light field and recovery of light field information.In this paper,the Virtual Lab Fusion software is used for simulation,and an integrated imaging display system is built to verify the function and role of the diffusion screen.This paper set up the integrated imaging display system based on the shielding plate and diffusion screen which are designed according to the specific parameters of the lens arrays and display screen and optical parameters of the matching of different parameters of the shielding plate and diffusion screen.Through the contrast experiments,the display method proposed in this paper is compared with the traditional integrated imaging display,which show that the stereo image has better resolution,imaging effect without particles,smooth parallax continuous,and realistic effect.The display method presented in this paper is not limited by the shape of lens array and the resolution of display screen and has good universality.The display method proposed in this paper is not restricted by the shape,size and the number of elements of the lens array and has better display effect of the integrated imaging system based on both LED and LCD.Furthermore,the proposed method can not only improve the effect of stereo display,at the same time it also has the very good universality.
