Analysis On The Language Patterns Of The Host Xu Zhiyuan Of "Thirteen Invitation"

With the further development of Internet technology and media convergence,it formed a new field of audio-visual product development which produced a plentiful of network variety shows,network TV series,network movies and other new media products.In such a media environment,there has been a group of young audiences living in the development stage of the network.With the diversification of the supply forms of audio-visual products,the audiences also have more diversified group-based emotional appeals and product appeals.With this background,various types of hosts with different professional identities have emerged in the network variety talk shows.These hosts have the dual identities of both a leader in a professional field and a show host.They rely on their professional experience to show their prominence in the program,and produced excellent program effects."Thirteen Invitations" is an online variety talk show co-produced by "One Way Space" which is founded by Tencent and Xu Zhiyuan.The host of the program,Xu Zhiyuan,as a host of the original "writer" identity,has his own unique style of language expression brought by the identity of "writer".Based on the knowledge structure of linguistic forms,he shows his expressive features of emotionalized literary linguistic forms and the refined written linguistic knowledge structure.While its tough and straightforward language style,and its unusually modest language questioning pattern have become a highlight of the show,it is also been controversial.Based on linguistics,combined with The film and television art,communication,sociology,psychology and other theories.This paper selects52 episodes of all four seasons of "Thirteen Invitations" in Tencent videos as research samples to conducts language analysis on Xu Zhiyuan by the method of case analysis.Firstly,we define the program of "Thirteen Invitations" briefly,and introduce the basic positioning of the program and the program positioning of the host.Secondly,starting from the macro context,meso context and micro context respectively,the background of the formation of the host's language form expression in a specific context is sorted out through the analysis of the different context characteristics of Xu Zhiyuan in the program.Then it makes the further analysis of Xu Zhiyuan's special linguistic modal expression characteristics,and Further analysis of Xu Zhiyuan's special linguistic modal expression characteristics with supplemented with the analysis of paralanguage modal characteristics.After that this paper classifies different guests and elaborates the role of host Xu Zhiyuan's language pattern in the process of interacting with different guests.Finally,it summarizes the shortcomings of Xu Zhiyuan's language expression in the program.In this paper,the study of the language modality of the host can not only enrich the theoretical system of the language modality of the host,but also fill up the deficiencies in this research field.It also has a certain reference value to improve the broadcast quality of the program and the communication effect of the program.
