Computer tomography(Computed Tomography,CT)has been widely used in various fields,such as industrial inspection,medicine,etc.,due to its non-destructive,precise and intuitive advantages.The key part of CT technology is the image reconstruction algorithm.There are roughly two algorithms for two-dimensional tomography technology: they are called analytical method and iterative method.The most commonly used iterative algorithm is the ART(algebraic reconstruction technique)algorithm.The ART algorithm is suitable for application scenarios with incomplete projection data.It has the advantage of strong anti-noise interference ability and can also be solved by combining some prior knowledge;the defect is a larger calculation The volume causes a long reconstruction time,which has become a shackle in the development of the algorithm application.Embedded DSP technology is an emerging product based on hardware acceleration.DSP has high integration and good portability,and has unique advantages in processing complex algorithms.For this purpose,a solution based on multi-core DSP to realize ART algorithm is proposed.The thesis first introduces the current status of CT image reconstruction at home and abroad,studies and analyzes the principles and existing problems of the two-dimensional ART algorithm;then discusses the advantages and characteristics of the TI DSP(digital signal processor)TMS320C6678 used in the thesis,and Research and analysis of the on-chip resources of DSP involved in the development of algorithm engineering in the thesis;compile and establish a system engineering based on DSP to realize the two-dimensional reconstruction algorithm of ART,and research the method of algorithm optimization based on DSP hardware characteristics.It mainly includes: code optimization,cache optimization,and compiler option optimization based on the DSP compilation environment CCS;secondly,it is proposed to realize the parallel processing of multi-core DSP based on the multi-core DSP combined with the parallel programming model OpenMP to ART algorithm.The experimental results of the final real projection data show that this paper effectively improves the calculation speed of ART two-dimensional image reconstruction under the premise of ensuring the quality of the reconstructed image,which confirms the feasibility of the scheme.
